If you are a regional finalist and you were not able to attend our recruitment day, consider making an appointment with our director to find out about our campus program. We are currently looking for the 20 Teaching Fellows who will be our freshman class for 2008-09. If you’d like to be one of them, please let us know so that we can make an appointment to get to know you better.
Congratulations to the Regional Finalists!! We are excited that so many of you are interested in Lenoir-Rhyne!! We are planning an extra special recruitment day so that we can get to know each other. You and your family will have a catered breakfast and lunch; attend workshops designed to acquaint you with the campus and community; learn about the specific features of the Lenoir-Rhyne Teaching Fellows program; meet members of the faculty; and leave with a special gift. We look forward to meeting you all on Saturday. Please make sure and register by going to lrc.edu and clicking the Recruitment Day link.
Mrs. Scotti Lafone started work this week as the Teaching Fellows program assistant. Feel free to contact her at 328-7507 for help or information about the Lenoir-Rhyne Teaching Fellows program. WELCOME SCOTTI!!!! We are very glad you are here!
I’m looking forward to seeing all of you at orientation in Raleigh on Saturday. Make sure you arrive in time to find a parking spot and get inside for the opening session. It will be VERY crowded!! I will give you a tentative schedule for our retreat (Aug. 6-8) when we meet together during the day. I think we’ll have about an hour together on Saturday afternoon. See you soon!
Mark your calendars for August 6-8 for our pre-term retreat! You will be getting more information in the mail from me soon with details. Please also make sure that I ALWAYS have your current email address so I can communicate with you electronically. I look forward to seeing you all again in Raleigh on June 16th. By then I will have returned from my very first Discovery Trip and can tell you all about it.
